Dimitri Seluk: Guardiola has humiliated Yaya Toure

Never backwards in coming forwards, Yaya Toure's representative Dimitri Seluk has gone on the offensive again, this time against Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola.

The agent has accused Guardiola of humiliating his client by leaving him out of City's Champions League squad, suggesting that the Catalan has a hidden agenda dating back to the time that both worked together at Barcelona.

"It is the decision of Pep and must be respected," Seluk told the Daily Mirror.

"If Manchester City win the Champions League then I will travel to London and say before the television cameras that Pep Guardiola is the best coach in the world.

"But if City don't win it, then I hope that Pep has the balls to say he was wrong to humiliate a great player like Yaya Toure."

Despite the poor relationship between player and coach, Seluk confirmed that Toure wouldn't seek to leave in the winter transfer window.

"Maybe Pep thinks it will be good enough for Yaya to play the last 10 minutes of a League Cup game against a team from the third division.

"In any event, he won't go in January, will fulfil his contract and hope to have the opportunity to prove himself in the meantime."/ShikoNews
